Introduction to Chengde, China
Chengde is a delightful hillside town just a three hour bus ride from the city of Beijing. Many visitors flock here during the summer months to escape the heat of Beijing. For visitors planning to spend a few days exploring Chengde, there are many hotels in Chengde to choose from to suit all budgets. Many of the hotels in Chengde are situated close to the main attractions of the city, for example the large resort where the Qing royal family would stay during the summer months.
