Introduction to Changji Hui, China
Almost equidistant between Kazakhstan and Mongolia, Changji Hui is an autonomous prefecture of Xinjiang, the large autonomous region in the northwest of China. Changji Hui hotels are in a unique part of the country, full of natural wonders and far from the crowded urban areas on the Pacific coast. The prefecture sits at the foot of the Tianshan Mountains, close to Bogda Feng, the highest peak in the eastern range. The Bogda Valley contains Tianchi Lake (or Heavenly Pond), which gets its cool waters from the melting ice and snow from the mountaintops. The city of Changji (as it is usually shortened) is one of the major cities outside the region's capital, Urumqi, which boasts the world's largest Islamic bazaar and a museum on the Silk Road trade routes. Visitors are encouraged to spend a whole day admiring the sunlight play on the candy-striped hills of Multicoloured Bay, located on the southeastern border of the Junggar Basin in the Gobi Desert. From Changji Hui, it is also possible to see the ruins of the ancient city of Beitung, built during the Han Dynasty. Follow the ancient trade route to discover some of China's most beautiful scenery and distinct Western culture.other spellings: changji hui otel, cangji hui hotell, chungji hui hotes, chungji hui hotle
