Cheap Iquique Chile Hotels

In the north of Chile is the town of Iquique, with a population of just under a quarter of a million people. It lies to the west of the Pampa del Tamaragul and the Atacama Desert and is the capital city of the Tarapaca Ragion. It is also called Zori and its main business is duty free shopping, which is based around the enormous commercial harbour. Iquique hotels cater to guests who travel here primarily for the shopping and guided shopping tours replete with mini buses and hosts are a very familiar sight on the streets of Iquique. Lovely art deco promenades are reminiscent of South Beach in Miami, Florida and many of the hotels in Iquique are located on these brightly coloured tourist strips. Shopping warehouses and factory outlet malls are plentiful here and there are some Iquique hotels that are located adjacent to or even as part of the shopping malls themselves.
