Introduction to Trois-Rivieres, Canada
Trois-Riveres hotels show off this most traditional of French colonial cities in the most French region of Quebec. With a history dating back to 1634, it is no surprise that many of the accommodations here are located in very old and very atmospheric buildings. This is a very historical area of Quebec having been the second area settled by the French in the very early 1600s soon after European settlements in the area began. Trois-Riveres hotels decorate the main street of Boulevard des Forges which is where all manner of tourist and traveller infrastructure can be found. Many cafes and restaurants are jammed around this area and many visitors enjoy old touches such as horse carriage trips through the major historical areas.
