Saskatoon International Airport is located around three and a half miles from the city of the same name. It is one of the busiest airports in Canada, catering to over one million passengers each year. The airport receives scheduled domestic flights from across Canada as well as international flights from several US cities. In summer, a number of carriers operate charter flights to Mexico and the Caribbean from here. On arrival, travellers can get to the city centre by taking the number 11 bus from the terminal building. Alternatively, taxis and hire cars are readily available. Conveniently, several Saskatoon Airport hotels provide their own dedicated shuttle service. These hotels are useful for travellers arriving late in the evening or those with early departures. Diners can visit any of the airport's well-known restaurants, while shoppers are free to browse the airport's retail outlets. One of these outlets even has its own duty-free section. There are no lounges here dedicated to business travellers but there is a convenient business centre close to the check-in desks.
