The small town of Salmon Arm is in the Canadian province of British Columbia. It is located on the southern shore of the Shuswap Lake, and this lake region is visited every summer by mainly Canadian holiday makers who relax on the lake shores and make use of the water activities. Along the highway that loops around the town, there are a few good quality motels, for the budget traveller and for those just passing through on an overnight trip. Just across the lake where the town is located, is a more rural area with quiet resort style Salmon Arm hotels, located between Sunnybrae and the North Bay Indian Reservation 5.
