Saint John, in the Canadian province of New Brunswick, is the largest city in the region and is also one of the oldest in Canada. It is a port city which is right across the border from the USA. This city is well known for its professional symphony orchestra; Symphony New Brunswick which tours around the province. A majority of the hotels in Saint John are in the city centre. In the northern area of the town, on either side of the centre, along the highway are the small travellers inns and motels, ideal for those who are just passing through. Just east of the Loyalist Burial Ground, you will find the B&Bs, with low prices and cosy atmosphere, while the four-star Saint John hotels are located around Brunswick Square. Head across the bridge to the west for even cheaper hotels in Saint John, as this is a quieter area of the city, and the hotels and accommodation here are mainly motels and self-catering
