Introduction to Saint John - NB - Outskirts
Regarded as the biggest city in New Brunswick, Saint John is also said to be Canada's oldest city. Many travellers get here by car, which means that the most convenient Saint John - NB hotels are located on the city's outskirts. Alternatively, travellers can fly to the city's airport, where a range of car hire services is available. There are plenty of outdoor attractions on the outskirts, too. Rockwood Park is located a couple of miles north of the city, where activities include hiking, cycling and horseback riding. Visitors are permitted to swim in one of the park's manmade lakes. The northern section of the park hosts Cherry Brook Zoo, which takes care of endangered animals as well as other exotic species. The more adventurous can even try a night's camping in the park should they wish. However, this might only be suitable in summer as winter temperatures usually average at around 4°C in Saint John. Travellers staying on the outskirts should try and stick to the north and west ends of the city where most of the attractions are located. other spellings: st john nbhotels, st.john nb otel, st.john nb hotell, st. john new brunswick hote
