Introduction to North Bay - City Centre
North Bay is a Canadian city of around 53,000 people, located in Ontario's Nipissing District. The city is situated on the shore of Lake Nipissing, where much of the tourist activity is concentrated. However, visitors should not ignore the city-centre district, where visitors can spend hours exploring small traditional shops, as well as eating out at some excellent restaurants. It is worth noting that the shops on Main Street tend to specialise in handicrafts and locally-produced goods. In the east of town, guests staying at North Bay City Centre hotels have the chance to attend a game at the Memorial Gardens Sports Arena, home to the Nipissing Lakers hockey team. The arena has a rich history, dating back as far as 1955. Travellers can get here by flying to Jack Garland Airport, around four miles from town and accessible by public transport. Alternatively, they can get drive on the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 17), which passes the Dionne Museum. This facility tells the interesting story of North Bay's 'Dionne Quintuplets', who were born in the 1930s and were the first quintuplets to live past infancy. other spellings: northbayhotels citi, nothbay city center otel, noth bay hotell center, noth bay hote
