Montreal is truly a magnificent destination to discover, with one of its more illustrious townships Ville de Boucherville, or simply Boucherville. It sits upon the southern shore of the St Lawrence River, just 10kms from the central business district of Montreal. It is five kilometres to the north of Montreal/St Hubert Airport and 25kms to the northeast of Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. The best Boucherville hotels are found along or close to the riverbanks, overlooking Montreal's heart. Next to these accommodations is the main attraction, Iles-de-Boucherville National Park. It sits in the middle of the St Lawrence River and serves as one of Montreal's most visited recreational spaces. The Golf-de-Iles course is found to the south of the park. The Jasmine Nadeau Gallery is a small but fascinating art centre worth visiting. The Old Town, located between the river and Fort Saint-Louis, contains most of the historic buildings in the area.
