Introduction to Brandon, Canada
Brandon is a large city built along the Assiniboine River in the geologically-rich province of Manitoba. The city is located in the hills of the Canadian Prairies, just a short distance south of Minnedosa Lake and close to a number of national and provincial parks. A river passes through Spruce Woods Provincial Park, located in the Carberry Sandhills. An overnight hiking trip on the Newfoundland Trail can be arranged through Brandon hotels. Atop the Manitoba Escarpment, Duck Mountain Provincial Park is known for its lakes, while Riding Mountain National Park offers an incredible range of outdoor activities both in the forest and on Clear Lake. In town, Brandon hosts a number of arts and music festivals each year as well as an annual literary festival. Hanbury Hill is a perfect spot for morning walks and afternoon picnics, offering a splendid view of the town. At Brandon Municipal Airport, visitors can learn about Canadian aviation history at the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum.other spellings: brandonhotels, brandon otel, brandon hotell, brandon hote, brondon hotles
