Sevlievo is considered to be one of the most affluent towns in north-central Bulgaria. Tourism is not a major part of the town's economy, but there are some landmarks that may interest visitors who are passing through. The best place to learn more about Sevlievo is the Town Museum of History in the town centre. The building was once a school where the famous Bulgarian poet PR Slaveykov taught.
