Introduction to Burgas - City Centre
The city of Burgas is a Bulgarian holiday resort on the Black Sea coast. The network of villages outside the city caters to tourists, but for those who want to be at the heart of the nightlife and entertainment, Burgas City Centre hotels are strongly recommended. In addition, the city's bus and train stations are located here, offering easy access to other parts of the country. One of the city centre's favourite attractions is the Sea Garden, which begins near the bus and train stations, leading to the city's beach via some steps. The Sea Garden offers one of the best views of the bay. At the beach, a number of cafes and nightclubs make for a lively atmosphere in summer. Additionally, the city beach holds a popular music festival every August, the Spirit of Burgas. Many travellers fly to the international airport, around 30 minutes from the city centre. On arrival, bus number 15 departs for the train station every 30 minutes. There are flights here from across Europe, operated by a number of budget, scheduled and charter operators.
