Introduction to Bandar Seri Begawan - Airport
In the north of Brunei, close to the South China Sea coastline, the Bandar Seri Begawan Airport area is superbly placed with a number of attractions close by and excellent transport links to the rest of the country. Just to the north is the stunning Berakas Forest Reserve, a beautiful landscape of hills, sand dunes and light vegetation that extends onto the almost-deserted coastline. In the east of this area, just a few miles north of the airport, Berakas Beach features a near perfect stretch of white sand. Right next to the airport compound, is the RBA Golf Course, which features 18 holes and numerous water features at what is a surprisingly picturesque course so close to the terminal. The best shopping in the area is also close by at Jaya Setia Square.
