Introduction to Morro de Sao Paulo - City Centre
In Brazil's Bahia State is the beachside resort town of Morro de Sao Paulo. It is one of five tiny villages located on the island of Tinhare, a wonderfully relaxed place where motorized cars are not allowed. The only form of transportation on the island is tractors, which pull visitors around between their hotels, the beaches and the tiny village centre. Morro de Sao Paulo is the main tourist village on the island, containing most of the options for shopping, eating and drinking. Plenty of tourists stay in the Morro de Sao Paulo City Centre hotels, but there is also plenty of accommodation right on the beaches. At night, little drinking stands open up around the village and down by the sea, providing the best entertainment on offer. Be sure and climb to the top of the hill at sunset and enjoy the sweeping views next to the lighthouse.
