Nestled among the sway of coconut palms, looking over a crystal clear, reef-filled bay, is Guarajuba, a small coastal village on the central coast of Brazil. Located about 40kms north of Salvador's international airport, the district receives visitors from all over Brazil, South America and North America, flocking to the area for a taste of surf, sand and sunshine. There is a wealth of hotels in Guarajuba to choose from. Beach resorts are the most popular properties, but tourists can also find hostels and lodgings away from the beach front area.
