Introduction to Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Located close to the border with Croatia is Medjugorje, a small town in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Formerly a sleepy town off the beaten track of European tourism, it was found a new lease on life in 1981 when around half a dozen locals reported seeing the Blessed Virgin Mary.
