The commuter friendly Inca Utama Hotel Huatajata is close to the train station and a few kilometres from El Alto International Airport. The hotel has two restaurants. One is in the main building just to the right of the lobby and is traditional Bolivian in style with Bolivian entertainment every evening. The other is directly on the lake in a circular thatched building, very traditional Bolivian in style.

The lobby is medium in size and incorporates two seating areas with plenty of local flora and shrubbery for decoration. It is furnished in a traditional style with terracotta brick walls, cream carpeted floors and a wood reception area.

The hotel is formed of two blocks. Both are formed of white stone with terracotta bricks and roofing.
