Belize City is the largest city and former capital of the country of Belize, one of Central America's most popular and stable tourist destinations thanks to its spectacular scenery and the fact English is one of Belize’s official languages. Although there aren’t a lot of popular attractions in Belize City other than a few museums, the city remains an ideal base from which to explore the rest of this beautiful country.
