Belgium Travel Guide - Health
The country presents little in the way of risks of serious diseases or infections on account of strict health and safety regulations governing all aspects of public business and services.
STDs are of course, as much an issue here as in any country and visitors are advised to use the same caution and safe sex approaches that they would in their own countries. Tap water is perfectly safe to drink although chlorinated and hence perhaps not so palatable for some, in which case most supermarkets sell bottled water.
