The hotel is actually built on the foundations of a Roman church, which can be seen from the basement in the form of a small museum. This is an amazing and unique feature of this hotel but its location is also superb and this hotel comes highly recommended.
The rooms are generally large but do vary in size. They are kept in very good condition decorated in pastel colours with very nice decor. The bathrooms are very nice with salmon coloured marbelling.
The restaurant is very nice with views overlooking the square and has an excellent buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a separate restaurant for more gastronomic cuisine which is tastefully decorated.
Lobby:
The lobby of the hotel is large, spacious and bright. The decor is plain and simple but has a touch of class. There is minimal, but comfortable, seating. There is also a lovely bar located off the lobby with a gentleman's club feel about it which is elegant and comfortable and classy and relaxing.
