Introduction to Charleroi - Airport
The full name of Charleroi Airport, which serves Belgium's third biggest city, is Brussels South Charleroi Airport because it is situated so close to Brussels, the national capital. Well over five million passengers used this hub in 2010, which specialises in low cost flights to popular holiday destinations throughout Europe and the Middle East. Many guests at Charleroi Airport hotels choose to fly and stay here instead of the larger Brussels Airport, because it is a smaller and quieter and offers many cheap flights. One of the six Wallonia Science Parks, the Aeropole, is located near this airport, 45kms away from the city of Brussels. The airport also contains at least four restaurants, executive Internet facilities, a travel agency, ATMs, duty free shops, a dispenser for flowers, and even special seats where passengers may get massages before or after their flights. This modern terminal has only been open since 2008.other spellings: chaleroi otel airport, charlerio hote airport, charuroi airport hotle, chaleroy hotell airport
