Hotel Type
The Azalea Hotel, Brugge was formerly part of a brewery and was a 14th century manor house. This traditional hotel consists of an old wooden staircase and large wooden furnishings. It is sited in a peaceful location along Speelmansei Canal, just behind T’Zand Square and still retains a homely, warm atmosphere. Although the hotel is not in the middle of town, it is close enough to reach many of Brugge attractions, as it is only 8 minutes walk to the Central Square. The guest rooms at the Azalea Hotel are full of old classical charm and have wifi internet access.
As one might imagine from a building dating back to the 14th century the rooms vary in size but are mostly medium to large. They vary in decor but are very charming and traditional in their style but all are in a good condition.
Restaurant:
The hotel has a small, cosy breakfast room which leads on to a small bar area with a terrace overlooking the beautiful garden.
Lobby:
The lobby/ reception area is small but again, like the rest of the building is traditional is style and decor.
Exterior:
A traditional building, parts of which date back to the 14th century. A building in keeping with the rest of of the old town centre.
