Introduction to Governor’s Harbour, Bahamas
The district of Governor's Harbour is officially a defunct area which now goes by the name of Central Eleuthera, on the island of the same name. As the current name suggests, the district makes up most of the central region of the fringing, elongated island of Eleuthera, and is found upon Queen's Highway, which acts as the transportation spine for the island. Governor's Harbour is located between the district of James Cistern Beach in the north and Browney Beach in the south. Governor's Harbour hotels are limited but can be beautiful, offering spectacular views of the tropical seas. In the northern area of the district, there is an airport that serves the entire island of Eleuthera, but Nassau and the Bahamas are also connected to the district via ferry. Scuba diving and snorkelling the phenomenal reefs around the area are the main activities to experience in the district. In addition to this, the beach is also a major player in the Bahamian tourism industry.other spellings: governor's harbourhotels, otelin governer harbour, governors habor hotell, governer haber
