Citizens of many other countries, including: the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, will also need a valid passport to gain entry to Austria but do not need a visa. As for time constraints, EU citizens can stay for as long as they want, but should register with local police if they intend to do so. Citizens of America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand can stay for up to three months without a visa.
