The high season in Vienna extends from April through to October, with July and August being the peak season and most expensive and crowded times. Temperatures in summer average around 20 degrees Celsius and can often be very warm, while milder temperatures are experienced in Spring and Autumn. These are probably the best times of year to visit as hotels and attractions are not so crowded. The wintertime is also pleasant in Vienna, with sunny, yet cool, days which are ideal for skiing. | |
