Introduction to Waidhofen, Austria
The Austrian city of Waidhofen is found in the Lower Austria region. It currently holds a population of about 12,000 residents, and was first established somewhere around the 10th century. It is not an overly large settlement, but it has been an important economic player for the entire Ybbstal Valley area since the 1400s. The city can be reached via highway or train. The main roads leading into the city are Highway 121 and Highway 31. The railway system travels through the city in a north-south direction, linking Waidhofen to numerous cities to the north and the southwest. The central area of the city includes some spectacular Waidhofen hotels as well as cheaper accommodation options. One of the best attractions in the city is its historic structures, which can be breathtaking, like the famous Perg building in the heart of the city. In addition, there is a beautiful park called Schiller Park, which sits in the southern districts, and several hundred metres to the south of this park is the expansive Buchenberg Nature Park. other spellings: waidhofenhotels, waidhofen otel, waithofen hotell, waithofen hote, waithofen hotes
