Introduction to Vienna - Josefstadt
The Austrian capital of Vienna is situated on the edge of the Alps, in the northwest corner of the country. Josefstadt is a district within walking distance of the inner city quarter, where attractions such as the Hofburg Palace and the Music House museum draw millions of visitors every year. Josefstadt is characterised by quiet streets lined with stately buildings. The Maria Treu Church is a notable landmark here, with a regal facade and great frescoes.
