Sankt Ruprecht is a village in the southeast of Austria, with a population of around 2,000 people. Sankt Ruprecht hotels are centrally located, with views of the village church as well as the surrounding countryside. The most popular thing to do here is hire an electric bicycle and explore the countryside. However, some of the accommodation even boasts its own bowling alleys. The village itself is charming enough, but there are a number of interesting excursions within easy reach. Those interested in history might like to visit Herberstein Castle, around 16 miles away, via Gleisdorf. On the other hand, golfers might like to visit the village golf course, less than two miles from the centre of Sankt Ruprecht. In the evenings, guests can choose from a number of excellent restaurants which serve a wide range of typical Austrian cuisine. Most travellers get here by flying to the international airport in Graz, just 20 miles southwest of the village centre by hire car. There is easy access to the village from Rechberg Strasse (A2), on a journey which should not take more than 25 minutes.
