Winter sports enthusiasts know St Anton as one of the premier ski resorts in Austria. It also has one of the liveliest aprs-ski scenes ideal for those as interested in drinking and clubbing as skiing. Much of the accommodation is aimed at the more budget conscious with a range of apartments, pensions and guest houses but there are a few more luxurious St. Anton hotels available. This is a great resort for more experienced skiers although there are some easier pistes nearby that are suitable for beginners. Early mornings can be a hectic with guests leaving their hotels in St Anton to be first on the lifts. This is also a popular destination during the summer when there is less snow ensuring St Anton hotels remain busy all year. Biking fans are provided with 60kms of tracks to follow and hikers, ramblers and climbers have a number of routes suitable for all abilities.
