Introduction to Saint Wolfgang - City Centre
St Wolfgang is a town in the Upper Austria region, which is well-known for its ski resorts and spas. However, summer visitors tend to enjoy wandering the cobbled streets in the centre as well as relaxing in the excellent cafes. St Wolfgang has a scenic location on the shores of the Wolfgangsee, a beautiful lake set against a mountainous backdrop. Saint Wolfgang City Centre hotels vary, but tend to be mid-range or above. Nightlife tends to be low key but there are a couple of discos in the town as well as several bars. However, it should be noted that many of these bars close in the winter. Traditional Austrian cuisine is the order of the day in central restaurants. This market town is inaccessible by train so travellers are advised to hire a car in Salzburg and complete the journey by road. Travellers should take the B158 (Bundestrasse) from Salzburg in the direction of Bad Ischl before branching off at Strobl. The journey should take no more than 50 minutes. other spellings: stwolfgang city hotell, st. wolfgang hote center, saint wolfgang city, wofgang otel
