Introduction to Jennersdorf, Austria
Jennersdorf is a town and district in the state of Burgenland, Austria. Located in the south of the state, the district has around 18,000 residents. There are no nearby airports, so travellers usually get here by taking a train. There are links to the town from the city of Graz, as well as other places in Eastern Styria. The main town accommodates 4,000 residents, with others scattered across the rural villages which make up the rest of Jennersdorf district. There are few attractions in the town centre aside from a Baroque church which dates back to the 1700s. This may satisfy those looking for interesting architecture. However, most tourists use the town as a base for visiting the various thermal spas scattered around southern Burgenland and Eastern Styria.
