Graz Airport services the second biggest city in Austria, located south of the city centre. The airport receives flights from London, major hubs in Germany and Switzerland, and many cities within Austria. Lufthansa, Intersky and Ryanair all service the Graz Airport, and seasonal flights from Tunisia, Greece, Turkey, Ibiza are offered on a variety of regional airlines. The site has an interesting history, as it was formerly the grounds of Talerhof, the first concentration camp of the 20th century. From the airport, it is only a few minute's walk to the Flughafen Graz-Feldkirchen railway station, providing hourly access to the main station in less than fifteen minutes. Buses, taxis and car rental services are also additional options for reaching Graz airport hotels, which provide a convenient location that still offer travellers an opportunity to see the sights. The old town of Graz is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, containing the famous Glockenspiel that comes to life three times a day. Castles and cathedrals surrounding the old town will require ample time for adequate exploration, although they can all be seen in a single day if necessary.
