Introduction to Fuschl Am See, Austria
The town of Fuschl Am See is found on the shores of Lake Fuschl, in the Austrian state of Salzburg. The settlement boasts a population of a little more than 1,500 inhabitants, and rests between the larger city of Salzburg and the town of Bad Ischl. There are no train lines running to the town, so visitors must reach the settlement via bus or car. A reasonably large road, known as highway 158 or Wolfgangsee Strasse, travels through the town, making it easy for travellers to drive here. There are several communes and villages located around the town of Fuschl Am See, including Haslwald to the east, Schober to the north, and Brunn to the southwest. Visitors who enjoy swinging the golf clubs will be impressed with Waldhof Golf Club, which is just to the north of the town. However, the beautiful lake is by far the main attraction in the town, allowing tourists to practice many activities, such as swimming, boating and fishing. Many Fuschl Am See hotels are found near the lake's edge.other spellings: fuschl am seehotels, fuschlamsee otel, fuschlamsee hotell, fuschlamsee hote
