Introduction to Eisenstadt, Austria
Boasting a population of more than 12,000 people, the city of Eisenstadt is the capital of Austria's easternmost state, Burgenland. The city is divided into several distinct districts, with each one hosting numerous Eisenstadt hotels for travellers to stay in. Tourists should spend several days in the city, allowing enough time to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and see the sights in the area. Several museums dot the cityscape. The most visited include the Austrian Jewish Museum in the Jewish Quarter of the city and the Regional Museum. Esterhazy Castle and Park are also wonderful landmarks that tourists should explore. The park is only a few hundred metres from the main train station of the city. The old Rathaus, or Old City Hall, is a notable historical structure standing within the city of Eisenstadt. Additionally, there are two churches within the city that are held in high regard by most visitors. The oldest is Domkirke, which was built in the 1400s, and the next oldest is the Franciscan Church, built in 1629.other spellings: eisenstadthotels, eisenstad otel, esenstadt hotell, eisentadt hote, eisentadt hotes
