Introduction to Baden - City Centre
Baden is a historical city in Lower Austria, just 24 miles south of the capital city, Vienna. In fact, travelling via Vienna is the easiest way to get here, with four trains per hour departing from Vienna's Meidling Station. Alternatively, travellers can take the Badener Bahn Tram from Karlsplatz Station, which also stops at Meidling. Baden is small, so guests can cover most of the city centre on foot, especially if they choose to stay at Baden City Centre hotels. One of the most popular attractions is the Thermalstrandbad, a spa-pool complex where visitors can relax in the city's healing waters. These waters have a high sulphur content, so some visitors might not be too keen on the 'eggy' smell around the town. Alternatively, visitors interested in classical music might like to visit Beethovenhaus, once home to the famous composer but now a museum open to the public. It's best to visit the city from April to September as many places close their doors during the low season.other spellings: badenhotels city, badenhotels center, barden otel city, beden hote center, hotell baden
