Spa and massage: after a day spent touring the city, you may wish to indulge yourself and massage away the aches and pains. Melbourne has many spas and massage centres that provide a calming ambience and many services including body massages, mud wraps, detoxification programmes, beauty treatments and much more.
Swimming: many of the four and five star hotels have swimming pools for its guests but there are also public pools to be enjoyed just outside the city. The Melbourne City Baths, situated in a heritage building, has the largest public swimming pool in the area, but there are many public swimming pools in the suburbs as well.
There are several shopping tours that will take you to not only the main malls in the city but also places that are only known to the locals which have lots of best buys and factory outlets.
Eating out: you will find a number of restaurants, cafes and al fresco dining outlets to choose from in Melbourne. The locals enjoy dining out and socialising and it is always enjoyable to have a meal with a friendly atmosphere.
