Introduction

Overview & Introduction to Gold Coast
Once in the Gold Coast you will find a wide range of activities to choose including diving, surfing, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and fishing. Land lovers can choose from just as many activities including bush walking, bike riding and horse riding. Other activities include tandem skydiving, hand gliding and bungee diving.
There are a number of theme parks to enjoy including the world famous Warner Brothers, Sea World and Dream World. Shuttle buses ferry passengers from one theme park to another allowing for convenient and easy access to all of them. Parks and forest reserves and a koala sanctuary are more attractions to visit while you are on holiday here. Day trips to upbeat Brisbane and also the hinterlands make a wonderful diversion and add something special to your holiday.
Both international travellers and locals will find travelling to the Gold Coast very easy as there are two airports serving the region. From within Australia, you will find trains, buses and highways that link major Australian cities to this major tourist destination.
