Getting Around

Getting Around Gold Coast
Taxi: taxis can be hailed down on the streets. They are all metered and are an excellent mode of transportation to use to get to destinations a little off the beaten track.
Bus: it’s fast and easy to get around using the public bus services. Routes include travel around the city’s theme parks, shopping centres and rail links. Many services run 24 hours.
Trains run frequently from Brisbane to the Gold Coast and there are bus connections to Surfers Paradise from the Helensvale and Robina stations.
Car: having a car is always advantageous in Australia where distances are vast. Driving here is easy and it’s a convenient way to get to the number of attractions in the Gold Coast.
Monorail: there is a monorail service that runs from the Oasis Shopping Centre to the Casino which is located at Broadbeach.
Pedicab: pedicabs run around Surfers Paradise. They are fun and inexpensive use.
