Warner Bros Movie World: this amusement park thrills millions all year round and leaves everyone feeling like a movie star. Meet your favourite characters such as Bugs Bunny, Wonder Woman and Batman. Enjoy the thrilling rides, parades and much more at this magical park.
Sea World: a visit here will not only entertain but also educate on the wonders of marine life. There are touch pools, a stunning Shark Bay, polar bears, interactive journeys and much more to be enjoyed including performances by the animals.
Dreamworld: Queensland’s number one tourist attraction provides action and excitement for everyone. Visitors can enjoy some fantastic rides here including some of the tallest and fastest ones. The kids’ zone has several tamer rides that will keep the children entertained for hours. The park also has a mini zoo with rare Bengal tigers and there are opportunities to hug koalas, pat kangaroos and get close to the crocodiles.
Carlton and United Brewery: this is one of Australia’s favourite beers and visitors to the brewery will be able to witness its production from brewing to the final product. There are interactive displays and lots of beer related merchandise to choose from as souvenirs.
Natural Arch (also called Natural Bridge): offers lovely vistas and opportunities for visitors to view picturesque and unusual rock formations after walking through a subtropical lush rainforest. The arch, located near the Springbrook National Park, also has a colony of glow worms underneath it that are best viewed at dusk.
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary: has the world’s largest collection of Australian native wildlife and visitors will get plenty of chances to view koalas, kangaroos, salt water crocodiles and also feed some of the animals. There are also rare and endangered plant and animal life on the sanctuary.
The Crocodile Hunter's Australia Zoo: is located in Surfer’s Paradise (about one hour’s drive from the Gold Coast). The world-famous zoo attracts thousands of locals and tourists each year as it is a great place to learn about the animals and how to help them survive. Visitors can watch crocodiles strike and have photos taken with a python.
