Lake Burley Griffin: is a favourite tourist haunt, although it is also popular with locals. It is an enormous man-made lake which is home to the Captain Cook Memorial Water Jet and the National Capital Exhibition.
National Museum of Australia: offers a number of hands-on interactive exhibitions displaying the stories of Australia. Children will be delighted to find numerous play zones while adults explore exhibitions.
National Dinosaur Museum: offers an exciting journey to the very beginnings of life when the first animals swam in the oceans and the first walked on land.
Telstra Tower: boasts exquisite views of Canberra and the surrounding area. The tower stands high, enjoying a stunning location in a nature reserve boasting a variety of wildflowers, trees and colourful birds.
