Bus: offer an extensive network which commute to and from the city limits. City Circle bus services offer a route that takes in George, Adelaide, Wharf, Eagle, Mary, Albert and Alice streets every fiver minutes.

The Loop, a free bus service, runs along the Central Business District and stops at many destinations which include Central Station, City Botanic Gardens, Queen Street Mall, Riverside Centre, QUT and King George Square. Different bus lines serve other areas. Most bus services start around 08:00 and end around 18:00 but there are services that run later.

Most ferries stop at Riverside Centre; Edward street; Thornton street, Holman street and Dockside, all on Kangaroo Point as well as South Bank Parklands; River Plaza Hotel; the QUT gardens Point and New Farm.

Taxi: there are two main taxi services, Yellow Cabs and Black and White Cabs, both of which operate 24 hours in and around the Brisbane area.
