By air: Alice Springs Airport is located 16kms from the city centre along the Stuart Highway. The airport provides connections between Alice Springs and other major cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Cairns and Perth, with most of the flights served by Qantas. From the airport, you will find mini buses and taxis available for ground transportation.
The airport is fully equipped with facilities for passengers. There are many bars and restaurants as well as shops and bookstores. Alice Springs Airport also provides amenities for passengers with disabilities.
Along the way, you can witness the rocky ranges and desert landscapes from the comfort of your cabin. The journey starts from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Alice Springs. There are two services a week.
By car: if you are arriving from Adelaide, you will need to follow Stuart Highway. If you are travelling from Darwin, drive south towards Alice Springs. It is about two hours from Darwin to Alice Springs.
