Day Trips

Day Trips and Excursions in Adelaide
Warrawong Sanctuary: is not too far away from the city, but you could certainly spend a whole day enjoying the beauty of this area. Nature lovers will not want to miss visiting the sanctuary as it is home to many species of local Australian wildlife including wallabies, bilbies, platypuses, a wide variety of birds and other indigenous animals.
McLaren Vale: is less than 50kms away from Adelaide city, but the whole ambience and views change drastically when compared to the vistas that the city offers. In this vineyard region the atmosphere is tranquil and peaceful and the views simply stunning. The beaches here are beautiful and surround the small town of Aldinga, just west of McLaren Vale.
Port Adelaide: is a historic port with an old lighthouse, many unique markets and antiques shops and museums to explore. This is an ideal place to spend some time away from the city as Port Adelaide has a laid back old fashioned charm about it.
Kangaroo Island: is less than 15kms off shore and is easy to get to as ferries sail here four times a day. It is Australia’s third largest island and offers lovely scenery, tranquillity and stunning beaches.
