The Sunshine Coast is a collection of seaside towns in southeast Queensland. Of these towns, Twin Waters has one of the best locations. It's just minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport and is home to Maroochy River Conservation Park. There are regular flights to the airport from both Melbourne and Sydney; these flights are operated by Virgin Blue, Tiger Airways and Jetstar Airways. On the other hand, Twin Waters is close to the Sunshine Motorway, which connects the resort with other nearby towns. Hotels in Twin Waters offer beautiful locations by the coastal lagoon. The suburb also has its own shopping centre and retirement village. The retirement village has amenities such as bowling, a cinema and an outdoor swimming pool. However, guests will find that the lagoon is more suitable for water sports, such as kayaking, sailing and windsurfing. Golfers will also enjoy the challenging 18-hole course and aquatic driving range. Few tourists eat out here, with most guests preferring to dine in one of the excellent hotel restaurants.
