The town of Toukley is located on Australia's Central Coast, around 66 miles north of Sydney. Travellers can drive here by taking the F3 from Sydney, a journey which should take around an hour. Visitors can then reach the town centre by crossing the Toukley Bridge, which separates Tuggerah Lake and Budgewoi Lake. The lakes are popular with water sports enthusiasts who visit the region to enjoy activities such as kayaking, sailing and fishing. Lakeside cabins are among the popular forms of accommodation in the town, while caravan parks, holiday homes and Toukley hotels are also widely available. On crossing the bridge, Wallarah Road becomes Main Road, which is considered to be the town's commercial centre. It is lined with restaurants and shops.
