Thala Beach Lodge Resort - Port Douglas

The Thala Beach Lodge, Port Douglas is a luxurious natural hideout, nestling unobtrusively on the North Queensland Rainforest. The rooms are set on high poles affording a magnificent view of the surrounding vegetation and wildlife. There is a buggy service for those unable to climb up to their rooms. The buildings were constructed with granite and timber, beautifully blending with the forest. Guests are treated to crystal clear rock pools with a view of the Great Barrier Reef. There is also an onsite 5 star restaurant where every meal is sure to please both the eyes and the palate. This resort is situated in a thick forest, 2 km drive from a beach and just over 15 kms from Port Douglas Town Centre.

Private bungalows and restaurant are set on stilts up amogst the rainforest with views of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, rainforest and beaches. There are a series of rock pools that allow guests to swim in crystal clear water and gaze out across the beaches.
