Introduction to Seymour, Australia
The thriving, small agricultural town of Seymour lies 98kms from Melbourne, in Australia's Victoria state, close to the Australian Army base at Puckapunyal. It's a hub for local wineries as well as organic farming, with its annual Alternative Farming Exposition held every February attracting visitors from all over the state to Seymour hotels. It's a pretty, friendly town with an impressive railway museum, several art galleries and a few Victorian and Edwardian buildings including the Old Courthouse and the Post Office.
