Introduction to San Remo, Australia
San Remo is a small town with a population of around 1,000 inhabitants in the Gippsland region of the Australian state of Victoria. Built up around the fishing industry, the town and its economy are now primarily based around tourism. The community lies on the Anderson Peninsula's western tip and is situated roughly 120kms southeast of the state capital, Melbourne. San Remo is the town at where the bridge connecting mainland Australia to the popular tourist destination of Phillip Island stands. The town's commercial centre on Marine Parade lies parallel to the bridge and is lined with cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. San Remo hotels can also be found along this stretch of road. At the other end of Marine Parade, there is a park which stretches all the way to the beach and is ideal for family picnics. Those who enjoy walking will be pleased to know that a scenic coastal trail starts near the town's jetty and passes Davis Point, Children's Beach and Beach Beach, providing fantastic views of the surrounding area. other spellings: san remohotels au, sanremo au otel, hotell san remo au, remo hote, remo hotle au
