Situated on the South Western Highway, halfway between Perth and Bunbury, Pinjarra is a popular resting place among weary travellers. Those that visit this small, charming town sometimes stay a little longer than they had originally planned. Pinjarra hotels offer easy access to Peel Zoo, famous for its collection of birds. The zoo is located three kilometres north of the town centre, just past the golf course. The town is 20 minutes' drive from Mandurah, the quickest-growing city in Australia.
